FAQ

Where is your matcha from?

Our matcha is single origin, sourced from small farms across Japan that use traditional, time-honoured methods. It’s shade-grown, stone-ground, and freshly packed.

Is your matcha ceremonial grade?

Yes — we only offer ceremonial-grade matcha that’s crafted for drinking (not baking). It’s made using the youngest tea leaves and ground slowly with granite wheels for a silky finish.

Do you add anything to your matcha?

Nope. It’s just 100% pure Japanese green tea powder. No sugar, no sweeteners, no fillers — just real matcha, the way it’s meant to be.

Is your matcha organic?

Not certified organic, but grown using traditional, chemical-free methods by small-scale farms in Japan.

How much caffeine is in matcha?

Roughly half the caffeine of a coffee, but with a calmer, longer-lasting boost. Thanks to L-theanine, matcha promotes focused energy without the jitters or crash.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. Rates are calculated at checkout and all orders are dispatched from Sydney, Australia.

How should I store it?

Keep your matcha sealed in a cool, dry place away from light. Once opened, we recommend using it within 4–6 weeks for optimal freshness and flavour.

Do you offer wholesale?

We do. Whether you're a cafe, stockist, or collaborator, reach out via our Wholesale page or email us at info@satoriteahouse.com.au.
